Two of the Western District’s most established accounting firms have announced they are joining forces.
As of February 1, Young’s Chartered Accountants and Sinnotts’ Accountants will operate as a sole entity under the Sinnotts branding.
Business partners Aaron Sinnott and Murray Whiting said the business merger brought added presence and strength to the respective firms.
“Sinnotts has been a part of the regional landscape since the 1950s,” Mr Sinnott said.
“Both businesses were already aligned in terms of their values and their emphasis on getting to know clients as people, not just as numbers.
“This felt like a very natural and positive move for both of our businesses.”
Mr Whiting said no jobs would be lost as a result of the business merger, with all former Young’s staff soon to be servicing clients from Sinnotts’ recently renovated and expanded office in Koroit Street, Warrnambool.
“We look forward to welcoming Cameron and his team to the Sinnotts family,” Mr Whiting said.
“We know they will each bring new skills and fresh approaches.”
Sinnotts Accountants has offices in Camperdown, Warrnambool, Colac and Port Fairy.
